chair's message
On behalf of the more than 850 members of the St. John’s Board of Trade, and the 30,000 plus people they employ, let me welcome you to the capital city’s voice of business. The Board of Trade is an organization with a long and proud tradition, and was started because people in the community saw a need. That need still exists today.
There is a need to advocate on business issues at all levels of government. There is a need to provide access to opportunities, and our members get that through networking events. And there is a need to provide assistance on business development, which the Board and its members can provide.
Whatever your needs are, the Board of Trade offers solutions. We value your involvement because we are your business associates, your suppliers and your customers. The Board also values your involvement because it strengthens our voice when we advocate for your issues to municipal, provincial and federal levels of government.
Getting involved in the St. John’s Board of Trade is a rewarding experience for your business and you. Meet new people. Make new contacts. Make your business grow. It is all part of being involved in this great organization.
If there is something the Board’s many enthusiastic volunteers or dedicated staff can do to help you find more success in your business life, please let us know. We look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
Denis Mahoney
