media & communications
The Board works to communicate with its membership, the community at large, and target audiences such as government in a number of ways. Sometimes, this communication takes place via the media.
Media is important to the St. John’s Board of Trade because it can help stimulate discussion on important topics of the day, or inform the community as a whole of the work that we or our members are doing. Sometimes the topics are controversial and show a difference of opinion; sometimes the topics unite us no matter what group we identify with.
In this section you will find a collection of media releases about advocacy efforts and public events such as luncheons featuring guest speakers. Our work through the media is designed to keep you informed and engaged, and to demonstrate that the Board is part of the community in which we and our members do business.
